The fountain has a real wooden-like removable roof, posts, and reel for the bucket all in shades of brown with detailing to make it look like real aged wood. The wooden bucket the girl holds has some metallic gray trim and the pot next to the boy has metallic coloring. Water flows from the top pail into the pail the girl holds and then flows down into the well where it recirculates with help from a submersible electrical pump. No plumbing is required simply plug it into an outdoor standard electrical outlet when ready for use.
